Mixing Section

This section is equipped with 3, state-of-the-art, 90 liter Banbury Mixer. To accelerate the raw compound for different applications, ALP has mixing mills with stock blenders. This section is capable of mixing 2100 tons of compounds per month.

The Batch-Off mill ensures clean and uniform cutting of uncured rubber sheets.

Water Vapour Resistance

A-flex establishes the water vapour pressure difference between the cold/hot side and the ambient when applied to a cold/hot line system. The closed cell character of the product as well as the designed diffusion resistance in combination prevents water vapour condensation within the system with that change of thermal efficiency and surface condensation. Please consult the manufacturer for the insulation thickness calculations.

Energy Saving

A-flex ensures proper thermal conductivity data in order to guarantee thermal efficiency for the life time of the installation.

Reaction to Fire and Security

A-flex is the right choice for all insulation projects for civil as well as industrial fabrication. It is also the preferred insulation product for heating, refrigeration & airconditioning industry. Incase of fire, A-flex products do not spread flames nor do they generate flaming droplets. A-flex has been certified against BS 476 part 7& 6which establishes the class1/class 0 performance respectively. The new European reaction to fire classification system, Euro class B. In addition A-flex products do not generate dangerous levels of Carbon monoxide and fulfills IMO RES. MSC 61(67).

Thermal Safety

A-flex guarantees thermal safety of insulation of civil and industrial system. It is self extinguishing and neither spreads flame nor generates flaming droplets. A-flex has been tested by independent laboratories and satisfies the requirement of BS 476 part 6 & 7, achieving CLASS O standard under building regulations. Technical studies and tests concerning thermal values performed by world class laboratories demonstrate the total reliability of the products.
